1121citrus/rotate-aws-backups repository overview

mokerlink-backup and mokerlink-restore are two CLIs packaged in the 1121citrus/mokerlink-backup Docker image. Together they cover the full backup/restore lifecycle for a Mokerlink managed network switch⁠.

Backup downloads the running, startup, and backup configurations from the switch via SSH and streams them to stdout as a tar archive or raw text. Backup runs as a one-shot CLI command or on a recurring schedule using a built-in cron service.

Restore pushes a saved configuration file back to a switch and reboots it. Four transport mechanisms are available — serial console, HTTP web UI, SSH+TFTP, and SSH command replay — covering both factory-reset switches (where SSH is not yet enabled) and fully running switches.
