dontpanicat/check_mk repository overview

Attention!

The images includes public ssh keys from don’t panic staff members. This allows access to derived containers with their private keys.

The corresponding openssh-server settings are:

PermitRootLogin yes
PasswordAuthentication no

If you don’t trust us (and if you don’t know us you probably won’t) take at least one of the following measures:

  • don’t map port 22 when launching a container
  • remove or truncate the authorized_keys file e.g. by executing docker exec <container> rm /root/.ssh/authorized_keys
  • adjust the corresponding openssh-server settings in /etc/ssh/sshd_config
  • prevent the ssh daemon from starting by editing the start script

The start script can be found under /panic/entry, this executes /etc/panic/start-services when it exits, fallback start script is /panic/start-services.

Check_MK is not configured!
