Intel® Deep Learning Streamer (Intel® DL Streamer) Pipeline Framework

Intel® DL Streamer Pipeline Framework is an open-source streaming media analytics framework, based on GStreamer* multimedia framework, for creating complex media analytics pipelines for the Cloud or at the Edge.

  2. OpenVINO™ Toolkit 2026.1.0
  3. OpenVINO™ dependencies

To install:

  1. In case of using Intel® GPUs please install on host machine this packages: install-prerequisites
  2. Pull docker image (Ubuntu 24.04):
  1. or Pull docker image (Ubuntu 22.04):

How to run

To run an image on CPU, use normal command-line options, for example:

docker run -it --rm intel/dlstreamer

To run inference or/and media operations on GPU, add --device /dev/dri command-line option:

docker run -it --device /dev/dri --rm intel/dlstreamer

This container image is intended for demo purposes only and is not intended for production use. To receive expanded security maintenance from Canonical on the Ubuntu base layer, follow the how-to guide to enable Ubuntu Pro in a Dockerfile. This requires rebuilding the image. Certain features, such as authentication, TLS termination, and external access controls, are assumed to be covered at the infrastructure level. For more information, refer to Notes on Usage.
