⁠Introduction

Logi Report Server Monitor is a standalone web-based application used to monitor the overall performance of Logi Report Server. It has the following main features:

  1. Inspects the status of Logi Report Server.
  2. Shows the server performance statistics in GRAPH/TEXT mode.
  3. Maintains Logi Report Server.
  4. Creates profiling reports: performance reports and statistic reports.
  5. Manages the logs.

⁠How to Use Logi Report Server Monitor Docker Image

  1. Run Logi Report Server

    Logi Report Server Monitor depends on Logi Report Server, so please run Logi Report Server and specify its license before running Logi Report Server Monitor.

  2. Prepare rmi.auth file for Logi Report Server Monitor

    In order to run Logi Report Server Monitor, the rmi.auth file needs to be placed under $MONITOR_INSTALL_DIR/bin/ folder - this can be done by copying this file from corresponding version of Logi Report Server - the rmi.auth file is under $REPORTHOME/bin/ folder.

  3. Run Logi Report Server Monitor Container

    Use one of following methods to launch Logi Report Server Monitor container:

    1. Docker Run Command

      # Run Logi Report Server container
      docker run --name logireport_server -itd --pull always \
      -p 6888:6888 -p 8888:8888 -p 1129:1129 \
      -e USERKEY=<the_license_user> -e USERPASSWORD=<the_license_key> \
      logianalytics/logireport-server:latest
      
      # Copy `rmi.auth` file from Logi Report Server container
      docker cp logireport_server:/opt/LogiReport/Server/bin/rmi.auth .
      
      # Run Logi Report Server Monitor container
      docker run --name logireport_monitor -itd --pull always \
      -p 8848:8848 -e ADMIN_SERVER_HOST="<logireport_server_host>" \
      -v "$PWD/rmi.auth:/opt/LogiReport/Monitor/bin/rmi.auth" \
      logianalytics/logireport-monitor:latest
      
    2. Docker Compose

      Get the sample docker-compose.yml⁠ file from source repository and run it:

      docker compose up -d --pull always lrserver
      docker compose cp lrserver:/opt/LogiReport/Server/bin/rmi.auth .
      docker compose up -d --pull always
      

    Then access http://localhost:8848/⁠ to use the Logi Report Server Monitor service - the default login credentials is:

    • Username: admin
    • Password: admin
