This Docker image is for Zowe users who want to run the server components outside of z/OS.

Not all components of Zowe can be run outside of z/OS, and therefore some configurations of Zowe that use Docker will still need to set up software including but not limited to IBM z/OSMF and Zowe's ZSS & ZIS.

In such cases, installation of Zowe server components via SMPE or PAX is recommended, followed by configuration of the install to run only the components on z/OS that are needed to be on z/OS, and finally running this docker image with the rest of the components.
