PostgreSQL container images built from verified upstream source on VMware Photon OS for use with CloudNativePG.

PostgreSQL and bundled extensions are built from pinned source revisions with SHA-256 verification. Published images use a portable CPU baseline so they can run safely across heterogeneous Kubernetes nodes.

⁠CloudNativePG

These images are intended to be referenced by a CloudNativePG ClusterImageCatalog or ImageCatalog. Use immutable image digests for production clusters.

The image runs as the standard PostgreSQL user with UID and GID 26. PostgreSQL binaries, libraries, and extension files are installed under /usr/pgsql/18 and are read-only to the runtime account.
