Run Trello CLI commands in a container
281
This is a Dockerfile for the trello-cli commandline client for Trello.
To build this:
make docker-build
To push to a registry:
make docker-push
You will need to setup your API keys to access your Trello boards. To get your keys, head over here.
The easest way to configure credentials is to set the environment variable $APIKEY
to the API Key Trello gives you, then generate a token and add it as the env
var $TOKEN.
From there run env2creds in the container to generate the credentials.
You are strongly encouraged to run trello refresh before doing anything
In brigade, it looks like this:
const { events, Job } = require("brigadier");
events.on("exec", (e, p) => {
trello = new Job("trello", "technosophos/trello-cli:latest")
trello.env = {
APIKEY: p.secrets.TRELLO_APIKEY,
TOKEN: p.secrets.TRELLO_TOKEN
}
trello.tasks = [
"env2creds",
"trello refresh",
"trello show-boards -i"
];
trello.run().then( res => {
console.log(res.toString());
});
});
