TrueCommerce Amazon Communication and Order Caching Service

This repository contains a Docker image for the TrueCommerce/Amazon middle-tier microservice. This microservice supports order, order item, and financial event retrieval from Amazon, via Amazon's Merchant Web Service or Selling Partner API. It also allows a limited set of upstream communication back to Amazon (order acknowledgment, order fulfillment, merchant product inventory, and product definition/listing). Order information is cached locally for a configurable period of time, and order data are queryable for later JSON-format download and potential insertion into an order management, ERP, or other downstream system.

Usage

In order to use this microservice, an Amazon client must be a TrueCommerce Foundry(tm) user, and must authorize and grant TrueCommerce "developer access" to their order data, through their Seller Central account. Once this is done, the microservice must be configured, and instructed to retrieve those data at predetermined intervals. It must then be queried for the results.
