Motivation

Usabilla wants to have reliable, up to date and vulnerabilities free (when possible) Docker images, and for that we have spinned off, based on the official PHP and Nginx images our own set of images.

They have been used since mid 2018 and, everytime we see issues, regression tests are added and the building mechanism improved, we want to make it as reliable as we can, with the open source community we can make it even better for all of us.

Open source and documentation

The project is open source and all updated Documentation can be found here: https://github.com/usabilla/php-docker-template

Available tags

All available tags

Our tags follow a standard of:

  • PHP: (phpMajor).(phpMinor)-(cli|fpm)-(alpine|future supported OSes)(alpineMajor).(alpineMinor)(-dev)?
    • Example: 7.4-fpm-alpine3.11, 7.4-fpm-alpine3.11-dev
    • Note: The minor version might come followed by special versioning constraints in case of betas, etc. For instance: 7.4-rc-fpm-alpine3.10-dev
  • Nginx: nginx(major).(minor)(-dev)?
    • Example: nginx1.17, nginx1.17-dev
